The Deafening Silence
July 11, 2008 | Posted by: Nathan
As I'm sure you are all aware, we are in the middle of our summer project, CMO. You probably also noticed that I didn't send out a newsletter in June. July isn't looking much better, and for that matter, neither is August. So, in the absence of my newsletters, I encourage you to stay updated by going to our website, and read the weekly eReports. (The current report was written by my brother, Matthew.) Don't forget to subscribe to the eReport so you don't miss a beat!
I was going to post some pictures, but I'm leaving for the mountains in a half-hour, and I don't have time. Just check out our photo album.

Scouting Trip
May 23, 2008 | Posted by: Nathan
Tomorrow Josh, Jessie, and I will be traveling to the Carpathian Mountains for a two-day scouting trip. This summer we will be working in the Sambir region (last year we were in the Skole region). The goal of the trip is to get acquainted with the area, transportation schedules, but mainly to make contact with or get contact information for as many village heads as possible with the goal in mind of showing the film in their village this summer. We would appreciate your prayers.
In The Garden

Today I did something I haven't done in a long time. I planted a garden. This morning, I headed out to the Beal's house and Jessie and I spent the day planting corn, squash, watermelons, carrots, beans, peppers, etc, etc. Some of the beans we planted were open-pollinated ones that my mom sent from America. (Thanks Mom!) It was nice to get away from my computer and the hustle and bustle of L'viv for a day and feel the sun on my back, the wind on my face, and the dirt in between my toes!
